Susan Jean Ziebarth

July 11, 1951 — September 10, 2021

Susan Jean Ziebarth, 70, of Jefferson City, passed away Friday, September 10, 2021, at Capital Region Medical Center.

She was born July 11, 1951, in Thorndale, Texas, the daughter of Harvey Lee Tag and Marlene (Walther) Tag.

Susan worked as an administrative assistant for the State of Missouri Child Support Enforcement Agency.

She was a member of Fairgrounds Road Church of Christ. Susan enjoyed puzzles, Thomas Kincaid artwork, watching TV gameshows, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her mother, Marlene Tag, Marshfield, MO; two sons, Bruce Ziebarth, Moberly; James Ziebarth, Jefferson City; two grandchildren, Will and Dylan Ziebarth; one great-granddaughter, Paisley Grace Ziebarth; and five siblings, Deonne Bachmann, Ronny Tag, Naomi Fink, Richard Tag, and Duane Tag.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harvey Tag.

A Celebration of Life Service for Susan will be held 6 p.m. Monday, September 20, 2021, at Fairground Road Church of Christ in Jefferson City with a reception to follow.

Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Fairground Road Church of Christ or to Hospice Compassus.

Scrivner-Morrow Funeral Homes in Russellville is in charge of the arrangements.
