Morris Wayne Davis, 77. of California, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
He was born May 8, 1940, in Marshall, Missouri, the son of the late Morris Franklin and Mildred (Baldwin) Davis.
Morris served his country in the United States Army.
Morris worked as a pastry chef for several years and later worked for Cargill in the shipping department.
He was a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and video games.
Survivors include five children, Russell Davis, California; Morris Davis, Jr., Jefferson City; Vickie Anderson, Arizona; Gerald Davis, Belton, MO; Mike Turner; several grandchildren and any great-grandchildren; and five siblings, Shirley Sheets; Martha Newman; Mary Case; Rose Owens; and Larry Davis.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Daniel and Douglas Davis.
A celebration gather will be held at a late time.
