He was born March 15, 1929, in Lohman, the son of the late Frederick and Clara Linn (Limbach) Meller.

Pat was a graduate of Centertown High School. In 1951 he enlisted in the United States Air Force. He was an aircraft mechanic during the Korean War, he kept the B-39’s at the ready. He held the rank of SSGT when he was Honorably Discharged in 1955.

He was united in marriage on August 16, 1952, at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church in Mary’s Home to Rita Mae Schwaller who preceded him in death on July 23, 2013.

He enjoyed gardening, playing pinochle, wine making, chatting with friends at church dinners and being around his cattle & farm dogs. He was an extremely generous man and never knew a stranger. He loved spending time with his family and tending to the family farm.
